Security Awareness Training for all Port Facility Personnel

The minimum of training to security awareness for ALL personnel without Security Duty on port facility is provided by the table n°1 of Maritime Security Circular n°1341 issued by the International Maritime Organization in 2010. The training follows IMO Model Course 3.25 and aims to achieve for candidates:

• Contribution to the enhancement of maritime security through heightened awareness
• Recognition of security threats
• Understanding of the need for and methods of maintaining security awareness and vigilance

Manannan Consulting sets up awareness training sessions of the reglementary 4 hours lenght or a full day set of 7 hours depending on local regulations. At the end of the training sessions, each personnel will be issued with a security passport that will allow to prove compliance with security training standards during any assessment.
